Just spent US$100
on a dress…
I’ve never done that before. Even my prom dress was under $100 (on sale). I pride myself on never paying full price. I feel like I liked this dress a lot more before I realized that I just spent so much on one item. I also spent US$130 on accessories today alone. I didn’t really need any of those either. And then I bought another dress for US$60. I like this one very much. So I have two dresses that I have no where to wear. And spent more than I care to on a dress I don’t LOVE. I like it, but I don’t love it. Maybe it’s the weariness talking. Hopefully I’ll wake up tomorrow madly in love with it.
Note to present self: Don’t spend anymore.
Note to future self: Don’t buy a dress that’s not on sale unless you LOVE it. No matter how good it looks on you.
Note to past self: We are in an economic recession. Stop spending. And no “helping the global economy” is NOT a valid reason.
